Licensed, vetted drivers
Every driver is licensed to carry passengers, insured and checked by us before their first trip: licence, insurance, car age and condition, and a spoken-English test. Cars are late-model, air-conditioned and spotless.
Late-model cars
Toyota Camry, Hyundai Staria, Land Cruiser Prado/300 and Mercedes Sprinter, generally under six years old, with air conditioning, bottled water and free child seats on request.

Questions
How much is a private transfer from Almaty airport to the city?
$40 for a sedan for up to 3 guests, per car, to any hotel in Almaty. A minivan for 6 is $60, a Land Cruiser-class 4x4 $90 and a 16-seat Sprinter $120; add $10 between 23:00 and 06:00. Your driver tracks the flight, waits with a name sign and gives you 90 minutes free after landing.
Is the price per person or per car?
Per car, always. A sedan takes up to 3 guests, a minivan up to 6, a 4x4 up to 4 and a Sprinter up to 16, and the price is the same however many seats you fill. Fuel, tolls, parking, waiting and an English-speaking driver are included. Park tickets, meals and your hotels are not.
Do the drivers speak English?
Yes, 100% of our bookings come with a driver who speaks conversational English, tested before they drive for us. Expect a friendly, practical driver rather than a lecturer. For in-depth history, a hike leader or business interpreting, add a local guide from $100 a day; the guide rides in the same car.
How do I pay?
2 ways. Transfers: pay online in full by Visa or Mastercard, or pay the driver at the end. Day trips and multi-day tours: a 30% deposit online, then the balance online or to the driver. Card payments are processed by Stripe, so your card details never reach our servers. Prices are in US dollars per car.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free up to 24 hours before pickup, with a full refund to your card in 5–10 business days. Under 24 hours, transfers are refunded 50% and the tour deposit is kept. A no-show is not refunded. If authorities close a road or border, or weather makes the trip unsafe, you choose a free new date or a 100% refund.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Nothing you need to do, and nothing extra to pay. We track your flight number and your driver adjusts to the actual landing time. At airports you then get 90 minutes of free waiting from landing, which covers passport control, the baggage belt and a SIM card. If the flight is cancelled, message us and we rebook free.
Can you take me across the border to Kyrgyzstan or Uzbekistan?
Yes. Almaty to Bishkek is from $190 per car, the same car door to door through the Korday border, or from $130 with a border swap where a second driver waits on the other side. To Uzbekistan you walk through the border post and your second driver meets you with a name sign; Shymkent to Tashkent is from $110 per car.
How quickly can I book, and how fast do you reply?
About 15 minutes on WhatsApp between 8:00 and 23:00 Almaty time, and the request form works around the clock. For transfers we can often arrange a car the same day; for 4x4 tours and peak weekends, book 3–7 days ahead. You get your driver's name, phone and plate the evening before.
